MPFab’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8
I bought the 2005 Evolution you see here new in Oct of 2004. It has been an obsession of mine for the last nine years. I wanted a white GSR without a sun roof, and it took a flight to Dallas, Texas to get it. This car has been extremely enjoyable to drive (when it’s not apart) for almost a decade now . It is ever evolving (no pun intended) and gives me a giant grin every time I smash the throttle to the floor. My children absolutely love it, as well. My wife… not so much, but you can’t please everyone, right? Currently it has a built 2.0L that makes 541whp and 470wtq on 93 octane, and 609whp and 540wtq on E-85. The car is an absolute rocket in a straight line, stops hard enough to detach your retinas, and corners like the tires are somehow magnetically attracted to pavement. Are you planning on making manifold available to the public and if so what would be the price Have the article of your car featured in modified it’s almost a duplicate of my 2003 evo 8 I love yours more though. Great build. Are you offering developing more parts for the evo
I don’t plan on making this available to the public. The 321 material used is quite expensive and the labor involved to build it is considerable. The fitment is very tight to the hood vent also, so that must be modified as well to make the header fit. I have a jig to make another if need be, but the header is too expensive to warrant mass producing them.
